Check yourself against these “I can” statements.
- I can substitute positive and negative numbers into expressions, including ones with powers
- I can form an equation from a word problem
- I can solve equations that have brackets on both sides, including multiplying out by a negative number, e.g. 4(2a − 1) = 32 − 3(2a − 2)
