Solving Quadratic Inequalities Graphically · Matching

Match each inequality to the graphs of its two sides, then to its solution in set notation.

Drag cards into each row (or tap a card, then a box). For each inequality, find the graph of its two sides, y = f(x) and y = g(x), from where each one meets the axes. Then work out where the graphs cross (put f(x) = g(x)), use the graph to see which side you want, and find the solution in set notation. Some cards have mistakes in them: leave those in the tray.
