Show that a factor is a factor, find unknown coefficients, factorise cubics fully and solve cubic equations, one real root or two distinct roots, the roots of f(x − h) = 0, a cubic from its roots or its graph, and (not on the specification) the remainder theorem · fifteen levels, timed, full worked solutions
The factor theorem: (x − p) is a factor of f(x) exactly when f(p) = 0. Level 15 uses the remainder theorem, which is no longer on the specification.
